Annual Auction!
Our Annual Auction is online and represents the artwork and/or services of female and non-binary artists integrating the work of established, alongside upcoming artists. When we shine, we will shine together! The money raised will go towards supporting the Firecracker Department scholarships, workshops, mentorship, and content creation. A portion of proceeds will go to Dress for Success!
Firecracker Department has grown into an international community of artists supporting each other to create. We have over 3,000 members in our community with 54,000 average downloads on our podcast and 3,800 followers from all over the world engaging on our main social accounts.

Send piece to the Auction team (deadline: Aug 01, 2024). We are happy to reimburse postage (max $20) or arrange for it to be picked up if in Toronto or LA.

Photos of all of the artwork will be displayed on our social media profiles, and there are opportunities for Instagram Live interviews to promote you leading up to our event.
Bidding will end Sun Sep 29, after our annual TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) Brunch on September 7th, and the launch of our Vancouver and Calgary Branches.

Our Art Auction is a highlight at our Annual TIFF Brunch. This year, the party is on Saturday, September 09 10AM-2PM ET, in person at the CSI ANNEX 720 Bathurst St, TO + On ZOOM!
The event is free, but please register in advance HERE, so we can celebrate in person!
About the Auction:
The funds raised at our Annual Art Auction will provide free tuition for selected members of the Firecracker Department to participate in one of our inspirational programs, such as the Scriptwriting Workshop, the Mentorship Program or the Artist's Way Group. The money will also help to support our regular free events such as our weekly Thursday Writing Bursts and Sunday Brunches.
